• Don’t Drink … Gamble!

    [ English ]

If you enjoy having a a beer ever so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you expect to use on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you anticipate to burn and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a win following a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hook a long roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and wager. The two just don’t mix.

Keeping your moola at home might be a little dramatic, but precautionary actions for dramatic actions is compulsory. If you bet to profit, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then drink all the no charge beer you can handle, but do not take credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your bombed brain loses everything!

Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condominium, however seeing that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not consume alcohol and bet.

How come? Despite the fact that I don’t drink to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely adequate to cloud my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and costly, drink.
