A smaller Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa riverboat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot paddle wheel boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday vingt-et-un tournaments.
Iowa casinos offer a great deal of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has permitted the bankrolling of many state wide activities. Vacationers have increased at a rapid rate accompanied with the request for services and a gain in jobs. Iowa casinos have been instrumental to the expansion of the economy, and the enthusiasm for betting in Iowa is widespread.
